I have a SuperD on the way that looks like this!

If the full scale plane has anything to do with the choice of models assuming they are both built to scale which I doubt I would go for the Super D as well. If mild aerobatics are part of the game the Super D will perform better as in real life. I have plenty of time in both full scale planes on wheels and on floats and the Cub does make a better float plane than the Super D with equal power plants. Pick your poison both will get the job done.
