Josh, Sorry to hear about your loss. A bunch of my friends and I have come up with something that helps the grieving process a little. When someone crashes their plane we all load up and go to the Roadhouse and buy the grieving friend a Steak. It's amazing how a good time with your friends and a big ribeye will help you feel better about loosing your plane. The elevators need to be matched with the mate function in the wing type menu. You can't select a channel unless the switch it is linked to has been disabled. Using the mate function is the only way I know to get the trim to work for both elevators. I made it a habit to start programming with all the switches disabled and activate them as required. What planes are you going to bring to Fort Bend?

Thanks for the condolences guys. After sharing this with you guys, it's starting to feel a bit better. John, you're absolutely going to love your 126" Slick. Badass doesn't even begin to describe how good this airframe is. One thing though, you'll notice when you get yours that the leading edge is sharp... so much so that you'll have to do your full throttle in burst because it hurts your calf .

Josh, Your giving all my secrets away. SHHH. Just kidding, they are extremely sharp but fly through the air very true and have a great locked in feel.

Thanks Brett. I knew moving to this size class will bring some heartaches of its own as I learn not only about this size plane (which is humongous), but also how to work the gas engine. I'm so spoiled by my electrics .But on to happier thoughts, Here are some pics of my 126" Slick with both covering scheme. |

I'm digging the second scheme! How long did it take you to do all that?

Josh, That plane is huge, how did you transport it? I was always amazed at your ability to pack your little Honda Mini-Van, but I can't believe you got that plane in it. |
