Hi Mike, Your right, it's a 3W 212 with DA ignitions. The engine ran much better after the DA ignition was added. The engine was set up and test run by DA. I'm running a Menz 32 x 12, I have a Menz 32 x 10 that I will try. Thanks, Bob |

I think your going to find a smaller prop will help you. A old man who had a big biplane once told me he flew a 32X10 prop on his 3W 212. He said the 32x10 was the biggest prop that engine could run, he recommended to run smaller than that to keep from overheating. So if you were running a 32x12 I would say that was your problem with heat. Thanks, Mike Busutil

Here we started to fit the fuel tanks. We will run twin 50oz tanks. The Tanks are located directley on the CG, (300mm) behind the Firewall. This way there will be no change in the CG during flight between having 100 oz of fuel and 0.

| Hey Darcey, Great to hear from ya! Your absolutely right!! Ive had about 6 or 7 Giant Scale Planes in front of this one, but NOW it's TIME for the Christen Eagle!! Things ARE going great FOR US HERE IN YUMA, AND MICHAEL AND I WOULD LOVE IT IF YOU'D COME BY AND SEE US, WHEN YOU GET HOME!
