To me East-RC seemed to be selling them at a high price. They wanted $1000.00 for the 100cc Yak, That is where the cream of the crop ( Aeroworks, Extreme Flight, PAU, etc., etc. ) was selling for. Don't get me wrong , my 50cc Richmodel Yak was real nice. Only flaw was a weak landing gear mount. I would say that the 100cc extra for $382.00 is a steal. I can't fly anymore if I buy another plane, My fingers will be broken.......

Here is a website discpition: Richmodel's 35% 3-D Extra-260 100cc is a premium 3-D airplane, engineered specifically for 3-D flight, and fine tuned with much field testing. This beautiful aircraft uses laser cut parts and top quality materials for a perfect fit and finish. Covered in Ultracote, this airplane is a beauty on the ground and in the air. This kit comes standard w/carbon fiber upgrades and premium hardware! To reduce weight and assist with easy transport and assembly at the flying site, the Extra 260 uses carbon fiber wing and horizontal stab tubes (supplied STANDARD!). The 100cc Extra 260 has a removable canopy with loads of space for the radio system, fuel tank, etc. The fiberglass cowling is easily removed, and has perfect fitment to the fuse. The fuselage has an integrated tunnel to accommodate different exhaust systems. This kits comes with a complete hardware kit, including heavy-duty S.A.E. fasteners, ball ends, carbon fiber tail gear, carbon fiber main gear, aluminum control horns, and more. A top quality kit at an affordable price! SPECIFICATIONS:

I looked at the manual for this bird, and it looks a lot like Aeroworks construction, hardware and assembly instructions. Does anyone know if this is an old AW plane that they may have sold off to AK or whoever is building it? |

If it wasn't right now this minute I'd get one and to heck with the scheme that I don't care for. Seems to me I saw this plane wearing an AW cowl. But for me $$$ is a big part of what I can and cannot do. I'd try it for that price.

Pacific planes sold this Extra as well. It was a yellow, blue, and white scheme. The gear has to be beefed up, but the hardware and flight characteristics were very good from what I read. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_55..._1/key_/tm.htm There is a thread or two here on FG as well. Steve |

Anyone know shipping costs on this one ? I went ahead and put one in the cart to see if the 15% off would show there, it did not. Nor did it include any shipping and at that point I did not expect it to. The next step however required too much info from me just to find out what shipping would be. I was afraid I would have purchased it.

Nevermind. It is no longer on the website. The composite 100cc is though, I just prefer ummm, non composite aerobatic airframes.
