Hello! My name is Mike Bacosa I am 33 years old and I live in Mesa, Arizona. I have been flying R.C. for 25 years. I have a wonderful wife and 3 kids. (two boys and a girl). I got into giant scale airplanes about a year ago and this is my first season in IMAC. I work for CNA Insurance in Scottsdale, AZ and I manage a large claims department for them. I am an avid outdoors man and have a rock crawling jeep and quads that my family and I enjoy together. My dad and I enjoy fishing and shooting as well. I currently am flying a QQ 120 inch Yak with a DA 150 on Greves and my back up is a 102 inch QQ YAK Gen IV with a DA 100 on slimlines. I use a Futaba 14MZ for a radio. I am having lots of fun in Sportsman this year but I am amazed at the flying ablities of these young pilots. I guess I can look forward to my son kicking my ass in the near future. Great to meet everyone!

She has not gone through SRS (reassignment surgery) as of yet but she has ......lets see....how do I keep this "PG-13"....she has had a couple of additions installed upstairs. Right now she is pretty content with living life as is. As with everybody else, there is no "black or white" when it comes to GID (Gender Identity Disphoria). Some people have to go through the entire process including surgery to be at peace with themselves while others can be content "just living the life". Thanks for asking! If you have anymore questions, just ask away....we're pretty easy going about the whole thing. CB

Hi...My name is Philip Patrick and I am a RC aholic. Ohhhh..wrong post...anyway. I attempted to fly RC planes when I was an early teen. Never could figure it out. I was a better builder and designer than pilot. I ran out of money and interest when I was about 15 and did not touch or think about RC planes again until I was almost 40. A friend of mine and I were talking about things we did as kids for hobbies and I told him I used to dabble in the RC plane world. He told me about the club (Georgia Model Aviators) and said I should check it out some time. I drove past there one calm weekday afternoon and met Wayne Matthews while he was flying his Super Xtra. Now..it is all his fault that I am into this. So..I went out and purchased a Hangar-9 PTS Mustang.....3 months later I was flying 35% planes...and have not looked back since. In 3 1/2 years I have had well over 30 planes (and most of them 35% or larger). This hobby is very addicting...but I love it. I love the planes and all the people that are part of it. What a great hobby!!!!

Hello there. My name is Knut-Erik Rognes, I'm 33 years old and I live in Norway. I started flying model airplanes in 1986 and have been through alot of planes, trainers, warbirds, sports, jets and now mostly giant aerobatics. I am engaged to a girl named Heidi, and we have a 4 year old daughter together. Heidi is not so happy about me spending so many hours here at the FG and on the norwegian forum, neither does she like that I spend hours at the field or in my hobbyshop when I'm not at work. I work as a Tig welder for a company called IKM, and I mostly work on oilrigs. I also do some testing of hydraulic equipment and I also have a ROV Pilot 2 certificate. I work 2 weeks, and have 2 weeks off. Great deal. I also shoot long range, and during september october and november, I hunt deer. I shoot about 20-25 deer each season. I use a Tikka M695 SS, in caliber 6.5x65 RWS. I've been hunting since I was 16 years old, and have traveled around the world, shooting stuff My longest cofirmed shot at a target sized 50x50 cm, is 1247 meters. Longest shot on a deer, 460 meters. Since I have become friends with some of the guys here at the FG, I have decided to go to the Snapasaurus Huckfest which is being held at Gardner Airport in a few weeks. I really look forward to meet all you guys, cause for me the social events around RC, is what I like best. Ofcourse I love flying, but it is also great to meet people, both old friends and new, and I look forward to get to know new people in America, and connect for life. I'm currently assembling a TOC Ultimate 10-300, it is similar to Blazing Wings Ultimate. It is a 55% plane, and I like the size. I have also started to build a 92% Ultimate, but I have put it on hold for now. I'm about to rebuild a house, and when that is done, my boss (Heidi) has promised me that I can buy a new kit, and I'm going for the big Christen Eagle from Exclusive Modellbau, same as Mikes father is building. So when I get to the Huckfest, I hope you'll look me up, and we'll have a great time, cause that is what this is all about, isn't it?

The black thing on my barrel is a silencer. It works real well, making sound and recoil feel like a .22 rifle. Thanks for wishing well my future hunts. If I get the trophy of my dreams, I'll post a pic for you
