Should be some good news out soon. I think there is a rumor of a distributor of these planes here in the US.

See what I can find out.

EG is real and are very nice people. We have one of their Extra's to look over. It's flying now and performs well. Only small hardware issues that we can see.

The Extra and Yak where designed by Ohio Model Planes. My dad and I designed the Yak and Extra. I have been flying the Extra for about 7 months now, and I have to tell yea it flies very well. I flew it at NATS this year with no practice cause I was a basic training, and tech school for the air force, and it did very well. My setup is 7055s all the way around, The new Hitec 9 channel radio, and DA 100 on cans. And it weighs about 26.5 pounds so it is very light.

Can single servos like 8711's be installed in the wings or does it have to have 2 per side?

Why not do a build thread...would be useful for those that are considering buying one of these models. I have heard they are very light for their class. Be nice to see one go together.

Thanks Forrest for the info. I saw your vidéos. Nice flight with cool music! I know the extra is usually a better tool for Imac but how do you like it for 3D ?

Thanks

Serge
