 |  Fonz Red Bull Pitts 12 build
Hi guys, started to build my CH pitts 12 ordered it in red bull scheme.... setup is as follows 1) 3w 157iB2 wit stock mufflers 2) 7955TG on tail feathers 3) 5955tg on ailerons 4) 5645mg on throttle 5) powerbox expert 6) JR 921 RX 7) 02ea 5200mah 7.4v Li-on 8) 01ea 2600mah Ni MH for ign 9) 40oz tank

| Re: Fonz Red Bull Pitts 12 build got the elevators and rudder epoxied in...and hinged... wont post pics coz i think u all know wat a bitch tat is.... anyways i used Hysol 5642(aeropoxy) for all surfaces... also installed all the servos in the tail and ailerons too..got the tail wheel done too.... used the control horns and hardware tat came with the plane....except servo arms... i used MLP arms....

mine is the new wing style so i went ahead and made it a one piece wing...found it easier for me to transport assembled the plane outside and had to work there... no more space in my room with 3 other giants....lol mounted the engine as well.... and glassed the firewall

installed tail wires with carbon rods... and also started with the electronics inside...built trays for the batts and rx to mount and also the gas tank... rx batts are mounted just behind the canopy.... ign batt behind the fuel tank....

cut the cowl to accomodate the huge ass mufflers from the engine... and also did the baffling.....i used 3/4" spacers to get the spacing for the spinner... gonna use a 5" spinner..

started with the flyin wires.. i used carbon rods threaded with 6-32 rods and ball links... im thinking of just using 1 per wing.... it seems pretty strong already... wat ya think??? also used carbon rods for the tail wires... with 4-40 ball links... i really hate flying wires.... so i wanna just use one per wing... i tried to shake the plane and the whole plane moved together... not just the wings... so i think they are pretty safe.... any input would be appreciated....

will start to work on mounting the ign unit soon... waiting for a new backplate to arrive... then i will do tat and the fuel tank.... also fuel dot from seacraft....then i will fire her up!~..
