I got some more money than I expected so I've decided to buy a 35% plane. I was thinking Pilot RC, but I don't know which one. Extra 260 or Extra 300. Please tell me some comparison between two of those. Which one is better for 3D and smoother. Thx |

Thats a hard question to answer. I lightened my 35% Pilot and I can tell you, its a floater. Rock solid in harriers and does what you tell it. Not sure about the 300, but I bet there very similar since they look like almost the same frame, but different hatch, canopy, bla bla bla.......just buy what looks best for you and you will be happy with Pilot.

i was turned off by the elve, no counter balance on the 260. looking at the pictures of the 260 some show with and without a counterbalance, so i'm not sure if the 100cc version has em or not. the 300 is a bit bigger, more wing area. i like the looks of the longer canopy on the 300's, the 260 is shorter. 300 gets my vote. 260? ![]() 300? but have you seen the 100cc Sbach 342 |

Only problem I'm having with the 300 is the wings rock in harriers. I'm going to start playing around with spoilerons to see if that helps

OVERsteer works like this: you drive down the same bit of road, turn the wheel, but the back of the car comes round like this, and you go off the road, crash into a tree and you die. Now, oversteer is best, because you don't see the tree that kills you |

| If the Sbach 342 is included in this choice it's the one I would take just because it's bad ass.

Built and flown a few of the 300s and they are awesome for 3D. The 260 as already mentioned in this thread has no counter ballances, this kinda sucks for "flip flop" type 3D moves. I installed 5" ones on my last 40%260 TT TOC and wow! what a differance. IMO you can't go wrong with the 300 for 3D. My 2 cents. Planebender
