I have been given the job to assemble the new Raven from EG Models – this is the prototype and is in the Frazer Briggs color scheme. Frazer is currently flying the 150cc prototype of this and it fly’s amazingly well so I am sure this will as well. Look out for the 150cc version at the shootout. EG models is bought into the states by OMP so I am sure this will be available once testing has been completed.First impressions. Kit is very complete and light with some very high quality components. Lots of carbon fiber bits, all hardware including 3d arms and titanium linkages are included and even a mint carbon fiber spinner. Pretty Bloody Good! Covering is as good if not better than a Hangar 9, which is what I am benchmarking this against. Wing is light and big, huge wing area - much like the size of a extremeflight, should be good. Below is the 150cc to show you what it will look finished hopefully as well as some pics of a few of the parts.

Decided to start on the rudder. All the surfaces are hinged and glued apart from this. Quick job. Pushed the arms through the pre cut gaps and glued with 30 minute epoxy. The only job here was to use an iron or sharp knife ro cut through the covering above the cuts. Next will be to glue the rudder onto the fuse. I Have included a picture of the bottom of the wing.

Looking good Mikey I cast my eyes over this model at Baldricks place the other day and I gotta say, I was most impressed with the quality. Chuck:- Just to clarify, the first pic is the 3.2M model and the rest are the 50cc kit. Hey Mikey, don't wear it out while we are in Tucson... Cheers Alpal

Not a gold wing - though very similar, this will be sold by eg models. The factorys website is http://www.egaircraft.com/. This model has been scaled down from their very successful 100cc raven that can be bought from OMP.

Thanks mr3d. Now back to the build thread, this is an awesome model and you can buy it from EG! Ohio model planes will be getting them after prototyping and a few mods.
