zulg. A twin 56cc engine is not more powerful than a 56cc single. Thats a fact and no matter what propaganda you read it simply cannot be. It must be heavier because you need two exhausts, it will be smoother of course. It will accelerate quicker than a single. Why dont you put your heli up for swaps for a good DA50 in the swap shop, I am sure you will get some bites. Or a 3W60, ZDZ60, etc. Kiwi |

ok i bought the QQ 3 -w 56i twin, its 6.5hp and swings up to a 24x8 prop, its weight is the same as the single and i'm only going to use the headers that come with engine so the weight will not increse much at all, no mufflers, hmmmm more power

How about a Brillelli 366GT (60cc). It is only $625.00 new and comes as a complete engine(Muffler & S/S EI). It weigh's 66oz and that includes the muffler and EI. Mine swings a Xoar 23x8 prop at 6900RPM. It is a side carb engine, but this is one sweet running engine. Scott and Mark at Brillelli have the best customer service you will ever find. Here is thier web site. Take a look I think you'll like what you see. www.brillelli.com |

I agree with Seneka, DL-50's are just as good as a DA-50. In fact they have a little more power and same weight. I'm going to put one on my new PAU Extra 330L 87". Oh and Luke, it's Dlusa.net :P

I have seen a lot of different combinations on Lanier planes. Honestly, the best flying combo IMO is the Evo 58.
