TAKE IT EASY MAN!!!! No need to yell. There was a good thread on this plane awhile back. Maybe too far back. It could be in the cirkus archives somewhere. |

He meant caps on= yelling He was teasing you. I really dont think you will be happy with a Zenoah G62, it will fly the plane, as will a Quadra 52 etc. I know you dont want to pay for the DA's and the 3W's, but no motor under $600 that I know of will rocketship this plane. I am trying to think here... As for Brison, nice warbird motor, but a complex ignition advance system and its weigh vs thrust just dont add up to what you want. I dont want to say this, but shop around for a nice used DA50. If it is used, mail it to DA and they may even freshen it up IF it needs any upgrades. Thats still not going to rocketship it up. I think for rocketship, you'd almost need a 3W 80i.

DA 50 is plenty for this plane. Mine is a Rocketship. Hovers just under 1/2 throttle on a not broken in DA50. ZDZ50, 3W50, probably just as good. If I had the time and money I think I would buy the lanier extra too and try the MVVS 45 in it.

Don't take the head bolt issue as a fact, one post doesn't mean that. DA 50's are sweet engines and you can't beat the customer service. I'll be honest, i've abused DA 50's and they kept running.
