Anybody have any flight time on a 3W Votek. I'm getting mine just about ready for its maiden flight and any feedback you could provide on flight characteristics would be appreciated. Currently flying a Dalton Aviation Extrta 260 42% and the Votec will be primarily for 3D flying. Thanks! Greg |

hi greg, i have a votec but really only have about 7 flights on it so far. from what i can tell all the surfaces are very effective/efficient, especially that huge rudder.IMO it doesn't slow down like alot of other planes do on downlines and such. i have the competition version so mine flies light. for whatever reason mine can easily waterfall down from say 100feet and stay in the same postion w/ litte effort. i've been told it takes some work to get nice stationary torque roll but mine is stable. inverted harriers are completely stable , upright you need to find the "sweet spot". mine has coupling going in only one direction and gets to be alot at full rudder throw. i'm using a DA 150 on stock mufflers, 3serv's per ail and 2 per stab but might take one out of each surface to save some more weight. good luck w/ yours, steve |

hi greg, this might sound funny but i compare it best to a krill katana i owned. they both seem sleek in the air, don't slow like other planes i have owned. dave i will have to look for some pics, not sure i have any though, steve |
