The 3.3 is the perfect IMAC plane.
None better in my opinion.
With a ZDZ210 on pipes. There power is unbeleieveable.
With that motor and the electronics, You will come around 45 ponds.
Go for it!

sweet! i've seen one fly, but i never knew it was allowed in imac because of its weight. Thats awsome! I saw it on a ZDZ 210. How about a 3W?

You have the perfect IMAC plane, the 3M extra, according to those who have flown it, it will 3D, freestyle and fly imac.

Just fly the extra

The weight limit for IMAC is 55 lbs. The yak with a DA150 on pipes is 47lbs. With a ZDZ 210 49-50 lbs. well within the limits. The plane is very slow on uplines and downlines giving lots of time to think your way through the manuevers.

Hey Mark,
How about those long vertical snaps with the 150?
Talking with Shapiro, and he says it struggles a little after the snap.
Thoughts?

If you want to stick with a 150cc, go with a 3w 157 on KS 1090s and it will have plenty of power. I have not seen this combo, but after seeing a few with DAs/1090s, the performance was anemic at best. The 157 on full pipes quite a bit more than the DA 150 on pipes, but for complete unlimited a 200 is needed.

Mark, the video on yours with the orange scheme had a DA sticker on the cowl, does that mean you have a DA 150 in it? looked like you had alot of power.?.?.?.?.?.?.?

It's too big for a 150. If you go with a 2xx then you lose the light wing loading advantage which this thing has. The 2.6m is a great flying plane and is on the edge of being underpowered with the 100's.
If they had a 2.9-3m size it would be much better. Granted I've flown only one, a DA150 on 1090's. However, it didn't have the power for the unlimited sequence and the pipes were too peaky. It might be OK for Sportsman. I sure wish they would downsize this for a DA150.
