Default 33% Colombo Anderson Extra 330L ARF

Here are ome pics of the 330L ARF from CAmodels and my MVVS116 with cans. I'm gonna have to do a bit of surgery to get it all to fit, not impossible but it is going to be a squeeze!
I have 8 5955's and a weatronic dual reciever... I may start a "build" thread here if I ever get past the point of just staring at this thing drooling

Looks good, will that 116 fit in the cowl I know on the old 300's you had to cut for the plug caps and thought you had to do it on the 330 too. And that was with a DA. it should have ballistic power with the 116 on that though. Definitly start a build thread for this one.

Yeah I will have to cut holes for the caps, I have seen it done in pics and it doesn't look bad if you cut long slits instead of round holes. This motor should pull pretty hard, I am breaking it in with a 30x10 menz, that should give me some decent prop wash!

You going to mount the rudder servos in the tail? the 116 is heavy up front, will need the weight in the tail

My 27% Colombo was very tail heavy so I think I may get away with a pull-pull on the rudder, otherwise I will mount them in the tail. The DA is about one pound lighter.

Sweet bro! I cant wait to fly mine. Did you build the kit or is that the ARC? I am trying to figure out the best place for the smoke tank (I also got a skywriter). Could you post some pics of your setup inside? Also, what is your AUW?

thanks Damien, it's an ARC, the smoke tank (24oz) is next to the gas tank (32oz), I'm gonna take some pictures of the inside this weekend and post them for you to loock at them, the DA is awesome, pulls really good, pleanty of power for IMAC and 3D, I had some doudts for the Biela prop(28x10) but it did also really good so I'm keeping it, SORRY what is AUW?
