I crashed my Aviation Models 30% yak 54 this weekend because of some kind of electronic problem, and i had no control over the plane, after i took off, so i need a new 30%er for my DA 50. I dont know if i should get another yak 54, or if i wait and get a Aeroworks QB 30% extra 260. These planes would be powered w/ a DA 50, and Hitec 5955TG all around. I want this mostly for 3D flying, but also some precision and imac practicing.?.?.?.?.? Thanks

I would add the Wild hare new 50cc extra in there. Also put a choice for either cause i think that either one of these should be a good plane.

Tony, you take a very narrow look at the market. There are many great 50cc planes available, why just these two? I mean, if that's all you like then that's fine, but if you are going to take a poll why narrow the field to just these two planes? Wild Hare offers Cap 232 in 85" and 91", New Extra 300 84", classic Edge 540T and Extra 300LX both 84", 80" Yak 54, all are excellent choices for a DA-50. Other vendors make good 50cc offerings as well. Why do you limit yourself and the poll to just two airplanes? You would learn more with a larger selection. TF |

I am looking to replace my Extreme Flight Yak soon with an Aviation Models Yak. I really dig the looks, and I know I can get parts for it should I need too! I am afraid sooner or later something is going to Happen to the EF yak, and I wont be able to get any parts..........

Go Aeroworks 260. Way better quality and performance IMO. If it flies anything like the 35%, it should be killer.

BR289, if you get ready to get rid of the EF let me know. Tony , Quique has a nice yak for that da 50 and if AM 260 is like the rest of the planes they put out it has to be a winner
