What is the best YAK to buy - Page 3

What about Wild Hares, I know its designed for 50cc,and its 80", but its advertised weight is 14lbs with DA 50.

I haven't flown any of these Yaks, however, an AM 30% Yak was maidened here in VA last week. It was overweight(IMO) and landed like a baby.

You definitely check out the Aeroworks Yak 54 as well - high quality hardware, and very fast building time. I have the 75cc and it's awesome.

Hey 50% what was the weight of the am 30% yak? If it was overeight its probably beause of the 70 something fox twin huh

I'm not sure of the exact weight, however the motor(Fox 4.8[79cc]) weighs five pounds bare as opposed to the three pounds of the DA 50R which most folks fly the plane with.

OK guys, thanks for all the help. The final decision is the QQ 73" Yak. I may still buy the EF Yak Electric or the extra 300 electric.

Good plane.
I'm going to fly mine this weekend.
Slapped a Webra 1.20 2 stroke in it.
Plane weighs NOTHING.. should float like a feather.
