i use carbon - i cut the carbon with a scissor into fine pieces and mix it into the epoxy - I also make sure that the epoxy is not to much as the strength is in the carbon and not the epoxy

I have just received and started building my edge.I have noticed that my fusalage has no slot openings for the radder cables. Also the manual does not mention anything .Does anyone have any measurments as to where to cut the slots?

Yeah thats the crappy part. I'm at work right now but when I get home tonight I'll take some measurements for you and post them later.

Take a look at Aero Graphix's new 3M epoxie, I just built another Edge and used this stuff, better and ceaper than Aeropoxy!

If its just a little lose you can wrap the tube with a couple of pieces of tape (like painters masking tape) and this will stiffen it up. Sounds low tech, but it works.

I brushed a coat of epoxy onto my wing tube. Worked great!

I have sprayed tubes with clear paint (rattle can) to tighen it up and works well. Spray light coats and turn the tube while spraying. You can add as little or as much paint needed to tighten it up.

Eury has one of these for sale on the site. Possibly a great backup or parts plane considering how hard it is to find parts for this bird!
