Default Fitting out a 46% Ultimate

Hi all

I am looking for suggestions for fitting out a hanger 9, 46% ultimate mainly in the area of control horns and linkages for the ailerons, pull-pull system on the rudder to a servo gang tray and coupler linkage system and lastly a tail wheel assembly. If possible I would like sites to where I can purchase these items. I will be using the Hitec 5955 on all the control surfaces.
This is the first giant aircraft I have put together so I am somewhat flying blind of what to do and where to go in sourcing parts and so on and want to try and get it right first time round.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards Glenn

www.troybuiltmodels.com has a ton of stuff for giant scale and can most certainly get you going in the right direction. Some folks use the giant Seiko servo on the rudder, others use 3-4 servos ganged pull/pull. With a DA 150, 3w 150/157, they come out nose heavy, so lots of folks place 2-3 servos in the tail for the rudder on push/pull.

WOW, nose heavy with a 150??? I'm surprised.

VERY Nose heavy! I was surprised as well when it came time to balance my Ultimate. I did plan on using a Seiko servo but wound up putting 3 8611a's in the tail for the rudder to achieve the correct balance.

Yep, my friends had a 3w 150 on stock mufflers, he put 4 8411s on pull/pull and ended up adding 4-5oz of weight in the tail.

wasn't there talk of H9 redesigning the ultimate w/ servo's in the tail and only one per ail?

I thought H9 was going to stop production on the ultimate.
