wttiger42 No, I did not upgread the landing gear. Do you think it needs an upgread??? hipollito If you are still building the plane, be carefull about the connections servo to ruder. If you are not doing something to the screws, they might fall out. Maybe you allready know. I'm gonna take some pictures tonight and post it tomorow. |

Tom, it has been well documtented that the LG on these is weak were it bends at the fuse with many delaminating on reasonable landings. TBM and graphtech are named as good replacements, hangar9 also do an alu upgrade. Have you replaced the bolts in the control horns, mine don't actually come through the square nut so I'll be replacing with longer ones that I can use a locknut on. With a too big prop for break in, you make the engine work real hard at a time when it needs to be underworked while it gets lubricated, and the moving parts find their fit. Although I would think that in switzerland at this time of year the air is quite cold and humid so you may afford some extra power. HTH, Grant |

Hi Guys That was greeeeaaaat, yeeeaaahhhhhhh!!!! Just spent the afternoon flying me new extra260. I don't know how you guys could hide this big fun for so long. I din't know about that great fun to fly this rc models. I started the hobby with a 40 inch funflyer last year, had this shock flyer yak54 this spring. And now this...... My awesome H9 Extra 260. It looks good, flyes good, sounds good. Huckability might be good... had a hover in about 300 feet height for minimum 10 sek. The MVVS (Evolution) 45 has a easy one. However, I'm not going to force into 3D until I get familiar with the new plane. Tom |

I saw one of these fly this past weekend. Only it had a rather unique choice of motor. It had an O.S. FF-320 Pegasus 4 cyl. Four-stroke in it, with onboard glow. It sounded so realistic and performed well , also. VRooom mmmmmmmm,,,,,VrommVrooom.... I want a Pegasus. |

Hi, Today I finished my instrument panel for the extra, I thought that the sticker was kind of ugly...so I made my own panel, here are some photos....hope you like it. I used a cellphone camera, so the photos are low quality, my good camera was stolen two weeks ago. |

Yea looks a tad over proped. My ran-in da50 spins a 24-8 sweet - but the 22 -10 is much better for accurate 3D. I used to think "the bigger the prop the easier the hover". But Thats just huckin paranoid?

Good idea about the panel. You could use the existing sticker, but make a wooden mask to cover everything but the instrument dials. One problem I have noticed with mine and others is that the glue on the sticker starts to let go and the corners start curling up. Not pretty.
