My friend TEXX has one and loves it. He' sthe missing MOD here on FG.. (new job) But his flew great and looked great! (You HAVE to go over the covering with an iron.. but what arf don't you?!) He has a pile of planes and commented that he thinks its one of the best values available.. considering the quality and the completeness of the kit... (You need nothing but a motor and radio gear). And this year at Nall I gave it a close eyeball, and it is a straight up nice plane. I have never flown it.. but he loves it. Hope that helps a little.

mine served me very well in IMAC this year. Had a little trouble getting it to snap the way I liked and for me that required fliping a switch to put it in a snap mode durring sequences. Most people like the h9 cap and I have one of those also and it only made it out of the trailer once when my engine was acting up on the gp580 at one contest. I only hope my new kit tracks as well as this plane becuase it does very well. Mine didn't harrier that well but im sure it was a cg issue. It torque rolled easier than any other plane I have owned. Like stated above its a great deal. I got mine for 600 out the door and you dont need anything else as far as hardware, spinner or even a pilot figure. I did buy a carbon wing tube, foam pilot, and had tnt make me some custom gear 3/16" instead of 1/4" and that all shaved a descent amount of weight. That is not mandatory for the plane to fly well though. Even with buying those things mine was still less expensive than most third scale planes.

check out my photos and videos, it should give you an idea about how it flies! I've done some pretty heavy things with it in the air and hit the ground a couple times and it still flies decent with all the added glue and fiberglass.

I love mine. It flies almost as good as a 40%er. I have a 3W TOC 120 on the nose. Its balanced a little tail heavey for some good 3D.

flatout, have you ever measured the thrust on that motor? I think my 100 puts out 42 pounds of thrust on a fish scale. I'd like to know how big of a difference it is.

I flew a friends a week or so ago. It flew precision very well and I was able to hover it with no problems. I didn't try too many things so I don't know about snaps and spins. He has a DA-100 with cans on his, and claims it weighs about 30 lbs..

I am not sure but it hovers at 1/4 throttle and pulls out like a rocket. | |||||||||||||||

I have one with a DA100 (Slimline mufflers) and smoke. I have carbon gear, spinner and wing tube. It's 27lbs. Flys really really well. It's very stable for precision flying and torque rolls very easily at 1/4 throttle (and does awesome HUGE tail slides... you can fall into the ground if you like LOL.) Snaps are awesome, very violent and stop on a dime. My airframe tracks very true - I have never touched the trims since I built it. It's an exceptional value IMO. The hardware is good, the covering is very good (they even used clear nail polish to hold down all the sharp edges.) The cowl fit is great. It's built very tough too. It's a lot bigger than a typical 33% - it's almost 35% sized. As with any ARF - I suggest using Epoxy/wood glue/CA on every joint you can get at. I used Epoxy on the entire main fuse section for oil/fuel proofing and also to make all the joints rock solid - added 3oz but well worth it. Go buy one while they still make them! |

| Right now I am looking at this Matt Chapman cap 33% and the Wildhare Extra 260 33%,,,,,, I do know the wildhare is lighter and its wingspan is 97 not 99.5 ,, but I guess the cap flies light anyway, aleast that is what I understand,
