What is your favorite (best) 50cc size Extra 260?

I am wanting to get into giant scale and would like to start with a 50 size airframe. From what I have read, the Extra 260 is a good airframe to go with. I was wondering your opinions on manufacturers? All help is greatly appreciated.

The Aeroworks 260 is nice and can be finished quickly is definately one I am looking at. Also Chief, and TBM are selling off their remaining stock so you can get a AM/TOC extreme 260 for pretty cheap. I don't have either, but am trying to choose between them.

My AW QB extra 260 came out to be 16.5 lbs. Thats pretty light. Atleast when i fly it it doesnt really matter, because i cant tell besides the awsome power i get out of it w/ the DA 50.

how does the AW QB 260 pull out of hover with DA 50 ?? I am about to order one and want to have enough "extra" power. thanks

I'd love to see one of these in person. The vid of it at the AirWild site is sweet and it seems to fly light and track really well. If it really does come in around 14.5# like they say, that's an awesome AUW for that size.

I flew an airwild 260 with a BME 50 and really liked it. Excellent aircraft!

A new from TMPro 260 for 50CC looks nice
And a Hanger 9 looks good

The Airwild has around 1370 squares of wing and the average builder seems to be building it to 15-15.5 pounds with no effort to keep it light. It will definitely be the lightest-flying of them all, but it is just about the ugliest of them.
My vote is for the Aeroworks, but only if you have extra $ to go full CF and know how to build it light. 16.5 pounds isn't bad, but I'd prefer 15.5 or less, for the sake of a lighter wingloading, of course, and also because a 16.5 pound DA-50 powered plane up here is a DOG!
