I'm looking for a good 100cc ARF for less than $998.00. What's your favorite and why?

The Jtec PANZL flys amazingly well.
Its a different air frame than most have,
(SICK of YAKS!!!)
and the quality is really nice (just reinforce the gear plate)

JeeUm, and TANK can attest to its fly ability..
And even for me , it makes me look good.

I have a 3W 100 b2 in it and its sick...

JeeUm and Tank have Da 100's and its sweet as well.

Just an option.

QQAircraft has there all white 102" GEN1 Yaks discounted to $600.00 plus shipping. To me for the price, you can't beat the way the airplane flys. Also not to mention they have the best customer service of anyone I have ever dealt with. Here is a link to the plane. Now this is Gen1 which is lighter than Gen2 but Gen1 requires a little TLC to get past some quality issues. My Gen1 came out 26lbs 6 ounces with smoke system.

Colombo Anderson 34% Extra 300L ....(same as PP or CH)...600 bucks. Awesome hardware and gear. Fully removable Vertical (Fin and Rudder) if modified by a decent builder.

I have 2 spares if you want one.

I wil have to agree with accaptain, I have the QQ 102: all white, for 800$. It's a great 100cc aircraft. And in the Plus side, you can do your own scheme.

By the way, I had Wild Hare's 260 and Giles-202(80-100), and flown AM Yaks, and other type of aircraft in the same size. I really like the way that the QQ perform in this class, compared to other aircraft.of the same size.

I love my cap 580, about 730 bucks but it comes w\ all hardware, pilot, control arms, dashboard etc. But if I could do it over at this moment, i'd get the QQ 102" yak, i bet it's a freakin dream to fly!

Aeroworks 35% 260 is $949. I like it because it is the most prefinished plane of the bunch and looks/flies awesome. Really, though, you get what you pay for, and for the price of the other planes mentioned, they are all contenders - it just depends on what you are looking for in a plane.

(I never flew one)

And the old AW Katana has some merit.... needs just a bit more then a DA100 though... mine was pushin' 30 pounds

Definitely QB 260... I have one and its the most complete airplane out of the box. The new shipment has even more stuff, including more engine mounting templates, throw meters, and a second tank and tygon tubing. It's an awesome flyer also! I'm doing really good lately in IMAC with it and it's a 3D monster. Can't go wrong with it.

QQ Yak is also one of the best fliers. It is very light and tracks really good. I just think that it is too weak of an airframe for MY type of flying and I don't think it can take that everyday abuse of going to the field in an SUV.... If I had a trailer and a second airplane, I would own one no doubt because it flies REALLY good.
