I am sending a sample to graph-tech tomorrow for him to make a mold. However long it takes them to do a gear, that's how long it will be.

I really like the push-pull set-up.

I picked up my White/Yellow/Black Extra this weekend... wow, Tom, thanks again for the time and coffee. what a great visit and a great transaction!

i am really looking forward to getting her together and getting in the AIR!!!

i am running a 3w140 and want to try and get the overall weight down to 37 lbs.

Anyone figure out how to do MINI PIPES yet, come on, gotta be some great engineers out there?!?!!!?!?

Anyways, still have a stupid grin on my face as this is my first 40 % plane.

Chuck, with the 140, use the Pefa LL canisters and headers from 3W and you will have the power of a 150, and then some. My 140's picked up 450-500 rpm by going tot he parger LL canisters instead of using the L canisters designed for the 140. It's a drop in cimple sintallation, will increase your power a lot, and is very quiet .. all win win win to me.

I went flying today and only got 1.5 flights in before the covering (i don't know what it is?) on the leading edge of the left wing let loose. I had no problem landing the plane, but it cut short my chance to practice for the Cactus Classic today. I have to recover it before I can fly this weekend, what a pain!!!!!

LBF.... are you going to address this w/ Tom? Curious as to what he has to say about it.... Huuuuhhh, I'll be sure to go over mine with an iron now for sure. Alltho i must say, the covering on my plane (yet to be assembled) is flawless! It's a bummer to hear that happened! Glad to hear you got her down with no issues! I thought it was ultracote on this plane... am i wrong..... is it chinacote?

For those who needed to see the tail mounted servo setup for the rudder, here it is. Plenty of authority even with the small rudder. Running two 8611a's, CF pushrods with Dubro 4-40 all thread running the full length (they show this pushrod in the manual).

All up weight on mine is 38.5 pounds. With the ZDZ 160 Super and RCS canisters, 3 blade Mejzlik prop, wood wings at 5500 feet MSL; climbs like a homesick angel. Nice plane.
