Guys, as I am sure some of you share my sickness for wanting to poses every freakin plane in the market, the time has come yet again to add to my collection. I really need help making a decision between buying the AM 33% yak ( special combo deal at chief aircraft ) or a H9 Cap 232 33% ( New in the box ). My flying was basically focused on 3D but have started to go precision as well so I really need something that does both. I need something solid and stable ( don't we all ) cause once too many you go out and purchase a bird cause its good quality or it looks good ..or...I can go on and on and in the end it flies like sh!t, so please, guys with hands on experience I need you to decide for me which way to go !! |

Get the Cap. You'll love it. The bad things that you hear about Caps are not true. They are really good flying planes. They just arn't the new hot ticket anymore, but they are making a comback. I have a 40% Carden Cap, and absoutley love it. It's the best flying plane I have ever owned by far. Mike Darr |

I think, that if you want a really goog flying aircraft, that is capable of 3D and precision you may have to focus more on triming the airplane right (as this document explain http://www.mini-iac.com/Portals/57ad7180-c5e7-49f5-b282-c6475cdb7ee7/PGoldsmith%20on%20trimming.pdf ) rather than what airplane to buy. My choice would be a QQ Yak-102, is the best compromise, between 3D and precision. But from the one you're choosing, I have seen the AM Yak and it doesn't impress me in precision. So I would go with the H9 Cap, and then go through the right triming procedure. If you go through the right Trimming procedure, 85% of the airplanes on market today are great flying machines. By the way, Pardon the spelling. English is not my first language

| I definitely wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to pick up a NIB H9 Cap. That’s a rare find, whereas the AM Yaks are a dime a dozen. The AM Yaks are great but I’d take the Cap over one any day. I love mine! It rocks at both precision and 3D. |

I say the cap. I plan on buying my old one back from a friend that bought it and has just stored it. It only has like 20 flights on it.This time I will put my 3dub -80 on it and see what she does.
