Ok guys I have a lot to say, first of all, don't get crazy Elie just because you now have a big badass 50% plane and all the big stuff that goes with it and most of us except Craig have small ass 40%ers. I am not sure I can put my "small" planes next to yours anymore but I will try. John, you definitely transferred your jet passion to me along with a lot of knowledge that really helped me make my decision, thanks and yes last Tuesday when I flew the jet was awesome and I never left a flying session so exhilarated and exhausted at the same time. Very cool high tech part of the hobby but I am not ready to abondon my first love of the large (but now because of Craig and Elie small) 40%ers. Jay, I have nothing to say because your post was very funny and enjoyable and I am still laughing. Just hold on a little bit longer, I will be back home on 3/20 and we will be able to bond again. Craig, if your real nice to me, I may let you ride in my golf cart at Nall but only if you let me fly your new large ride. I realy can't wait to see it. At the length that you mentioned to me, it must look enormous especially next to the 40% planes. And to repeat my self, I just looked at your last set of pics and the colors really look great and stand out. Mikalauskas is building another 260 for me and I am trying to use some different colors and am considering metallic green. purple and the silver which looks great in the air and I have on 2 of my planes. As far as the jet goes, it is very cool. The technology, the speed and the newness of the whole thing. Thank God, Andy Kane was with me. I hope he reads this because he did a great job helping me and teaching me about the plane and what to expect when flying it and we had fun and I owe him a big thank you. We are meeting again next Thurday for round 2. This is my longest post so I am going to say I will talk to you all soon. Tony |

Elie, it is my new prototype 170 disguised as a "small" 150. Should pull this plane around just fine. This one runs fine on one plug per cylinder (unlike your 275 which needs 3.....2 for spark, 1 to prevent leaking.....which I am told you are prone to). And no, this does not run on glow fuel....just good old regular pump gas. I believe your new nickname at the WRAM show was "defector"......making fun of my engine will not help your cause Tony, I'll have to get a look at your golf cart before I commit to a deal like that When is Tom going to have your new plane done??? You called me a defector!!!! I wonder who the real defector is, I think you just got caught, some interesting graphics on the Ultimate in pics 2 and 3 in post # 60. I am shocked .I have been to your house many times and never saw that thing, where you been hiding it or is it brand new?

I cover it up when you come to my house. I know how serious you take your "moderator" job and did not want to hurt your feelings. I know how sensitive you can be about these things.

Craig, Tom should start building around the first week of April. I hope to fly the Hueff 260 when I get back home in mid March and will probably use that plane for the IMAC flying. I am planning on getting into my first contest in April in Tampa. Are you still planning on flying IMAC this year? Also I was looking at the pics of your new 260, what colors are on you using. Is it MOnokote or Ultracote? Have fun flying tomorrow. I have actually gotten a lot of flying in down here and had the luxury of flying in 5 different fields and met a bunch of people that I know. Talk to you soon. Tony |

Tony, I definitely plan on hitting a couple of IMAC contests this year. Should be fun if a bunch of us do it. The covering is Ultracote. White, Cub Yellow, Silver, Pearl Blue, and Pearl Red. I will think twice next time before putting five colors on a cowl. Ends up being alot of masking Supposed to be 55 here today....off to the field |

Covered the wings over the last couple nights. Bob Trueworthy's cad skills made this half the work it should have been as he drew the scheme and printed the templates. Thanks Bob!!!! I think this thing will be easy to see as it is VERY bright. Now if I can just get Bob to draw some stab templates We are back in a temporary winter pattern so it is a good weekend to work on planes Craig |
