Default Dalton Lighten stab pics

Looking for some of the pics of the Daltons (or other planes) that have the elevators and rudders with lightening holes in them prior to covering. Need to see a few patterns for a project.

sweetpea,

The tail surfaces look good, but how did you cut the holes? What did you use, tool wise ?

Thanks

Here's a picture of my Dalton's lightened rudder. Stan, the builder of these three Daltons as well as Sweatpea's airplane, uses a spindle sander. He make cardboard cutout templates so each side is the same for the stabs, or any surface for that matter. He then marks each out with a pencil and uses a spindle sander, while the surface is still attached to the shuck (bed) for a straight vertical cut. However, he does reinforce all the trailing edges with carbon fiber about 3/4" wide on both sides of the trailing surfaces while vacuum bagging the sheeting. You'll notice a stack of elevators in the bottom left side of the picture.
