oh whoa...........no i didn't see that. Pretty impressive scheme though huh? I wonder if anyone has gotten one of these here on FG or over at RCU? be interesting to see how the quality stacks up. If it's good , that price tag is definetly reasonable. hmmmm??? Jeff |

There was a thread on this plane already on here and FICK was going to stop by and take a look at one cause it was close to home if possible.

I had asked Sleepy to contact them and see if it was possible for me to stop by as he was interested in the plane. I think he got busy with the Dalton and doesn't want to tempt himself. Something about castration from the spouse...I dunno, it didn't sound too pleasant.

I've one of these from the same factory (TOC connection) but my model is in a QQ scheme. They have just changed the scheme color for this release. On my pic notice the thin blue line on the cowl. On a true QQ it curves at the front of the cowl where as my line is squarer at its turning point near the front of the cowl. It's not built yet, but my inspection found it straight and well put together. All up with a ZDZ160 champ will be bang on 30lb, The model has a generous 2222sq" wing area and came with a TOC 35% yak manual (there are slight differences between book and model) Power to weight > 2:1 should enough to get it into orbit. Cracking value though.... |

a ZDZ 160??!!?? HOLY CRAP! you think the firewall is gonna hold up to that? i think it's more intended for a 100 sized engine......seems a little overkill. Wouldn't that also affect the wing loading quite a bit too? Not sure what that motor weighs , but it can't be that light. Better give NASA a quick call. JEFF
