All the larger Comp-Arf planes come with the horns and canopy completed. The 2.6's are aimed at the more economically focused pilot and still require the builder to complete those operations. I too have noticed an improvement of quality.

I just received my MX2 this evening...I've had a chance to go through it all and I must say that Comp-Arf has really upped their quality control.....I bought a 2.6 Yak 2 years ago and was not pleased with it at all, but it flew so well I turned the other cheek everytime I looked at it. They also do alot more pre-fab such as horn installation and the pesky canopy frame install....Not sure if they do this on all of their models or just the latest releases... Anyway I'm very pleased and just stoked to get started...It seems that all the high quality arfs we buy nowadays are very good and they are constantly improving the designs and quality.. Way to go Comp-Arf |

Yep, C-Arf has been trying to improve the quality control and added value to these ARF's for some time now. Every model they make seems to be getting better and better... There mold making process is also better, so the end result is finer seams, titer fit of parts, and over all nicer finishes... Way to go Composite-Arf |

All the planes will 3D but the SX has them beat...the 260 has smaller stabs making it harder to to walls, Blowovers...but the 260 is still a bad ass 3D machine and does fly better precision.. The MX2 is also a great machine, the one I have been flying is 35lb. and flys super light, I dont have a whole lot of time on it but the few flights I do have were real fun. It is a plane that has a ton of potential that has yet to be seen... The Big Yak is just awesome! It is very easy to 3D but its size requires a trailer for most guys, or a long bed truck. cost of that project is a few grand than the other choices.. these are my opinions from my personal experiance's... | ||||||||||||||||||
