Get ready to be pleasantly surprised Skydiver. That is the set-up I use. It is a Very nice prop engine combo, the best duo that I had found. If you are just in Rockwall, then we need to get together for some weekend flying! |

Flew it today ZDZ 80, 22 lb Edge, 26AQuicker throttle response than the Mejzlik, slower downlines and I really liked the "feel" of the plane. Dont know why but it seemed more solid in inverted harriers. Also quick blips of the throttle in a hover produced INSTANT thrust. I'm very pleased. A carbon prop in this profile would be the shiz! It seemed like vertical speed was the same but the initial "blast off" is insane. The Mejzlik is no slouch but the Vess just gets it moving much quicker. Instant acceleration is really cool.

Roger, what do your airplanes weigh? I prefer the A as it makes tons of power and constant speed. The zdz super 80 turns this prop with authority, the 26B may be a tad much for the older 80s, so I would stick with the 26A.

The older ZDZ is pulling a 24lber The Blue HD is pulling a 23lber. Both are mainly IMAC planes. Thanks.

Ok I would still stick with the 26A. It pulls like a train, very nice, and the good thing is it is very quiet even when turning 6800+ on the super 80.
