Hey Guys, I know that many of you have been patiently awaiting the release of the highly-touted 26 inch Vess Props so I wanted to let you know that they are now ready for shipment. So all of you who have heard great things from the guys out there who had test versions can now get your own! Our online store at www.vessaero.com is being updated tonight and will be ready to process orders for this new item right away. Only 26A and B versions will be made available since these tend to best match the requirements of the popular ZDZ and 3W 80 class aircraft during testing. You won't believe the pull! Enjoy! Just a quick note, folks... I just finished getting the new VessAero 26" props uploaded to the website at www.vessaero.com. Vess now has the 26" A & B pitch props in stock and ready to ship. They are: VP-26A 26-inch Diameter, A-Series Pitch Prop - for use on 75-85cc powered aerobatic aircraft where more rpm or throttle repsonse is desired. VP-26B 26-inch Diameter, A-Series Pitch Prop - baseline prop for 75-85cc engines on typical 33% aerobatic aircraft. Provides tremendous thrust for this class of airplane/engine! They can be found in the shopping system at www.VessAero.com

80 RVJ here. I think it calls for an "A" for us. ( I have the same plane) You guys know when Desert Aircraft will get inventory on the 26's. I need to get a few other things from them at the same time. Mark Hey Jaybird dude, what are you running for muffs on your bird? I am going to put a can on mine . With this new prop it will be nuts! |

i am using a Vess 26a on my Aeroworks yak that comes in at 25lbs. switched from a PT 26x10 and it was nite and day on the difference. Choo choo comes to mind. i dont have numbers from a tach, last time at the field tach was dead on bat. but this is definately a nice prop in my opinion.

The real difference between the "A" and "B" simply relates to prop load. If you are realy looking for faster spoolup and throttle response and your engine will not be over-revved, use the A. The B isn't that much more load but enough to allow to reduce the RPM a little. If you have great power already, this will be the prop to use. It's like using a little different gear ratio.........

Guys, this IS the prop for 75-85cc engines. I have run these for a while now and on a 3W 80cs and zdz super 80, it is just night and day compared to the mejzlik, pt, nx, etc. I wouldn't even consider another prop for the 80cc engines, these are that good! Last we tached 330s super 80 and the 26A was around 6600 or so, down from around 6850 with the PT 26x10, but pulled a lot better. Another super 80 pulled the 26B around 6200, and a better imac prop than 3D. For just 3D the 26A is the way to go.
