Those head fins sure look small. Does it cool ok with them that small? Of course you'll say the answer is yes, it cools wonderfully, but I had to ask. Good looking motors. Funny exhaust manifolds...

Agreed, those are some super looking motors. Almost would be a shame to cover them with a cowl. Any idea of a release date?

I have just received a shipment today, and another one coming in tomorow.

I have some 80 singles left and two 150's and a 300, all others are spoken for but more are coming.

As for the header, yes it is different then what you are used to seeing.

Go to the PDF file on my web site in the engine section, and go down the pages there are photos explaing how to mount these

There is no soldering with this system, once the engine is mounted, you can adjust the lenght of the pipe by cutting it and then rotate it to the proper place and tighten the flange screws, that's it. Neat and easy

As I mentioned before, I am supplying the engine standoff for each engine sold free of charge and to your specs but this will be for the first 50 engines.
The header pipe and flange are also included with each engine sold except for the 300,

We will offer the proper canister mufflers for these engines soon as they are being developed specifically for our engines by BMP in Germany.

Regards
Roger

Come to Toledo and you will be able to fondle them.

Go to my web site for some of your questions as price and size.

but the quad is 300cc with 32 hp and weighs 15 lbs. the magnesium version weighs only 14 lbs.

Roger

Roger,

You must refrain from posting eye candies like those three. I agree with JeeuM, just too pretty to put a cowl around them and hide them.

That exhaust connection is a a killer. Especially for anyone looking to put pipes on the 4 cylinder little darling. God they are pretty. I could mount one on the wall of my office just to drool over.

Mate they look like they are upping the ante on the engine market for sure.

Roger,

Heres a technical question on the 300cc four cylinder gem.

When you install a four cylinder it is absolutely imperative that you baffle it so as to force air over the top of the engine and down through the cooling fins. Am I right in that assumption?

If so why do all the engine manufacturers put the fins on the cylinder head horizontal. No air can pass down over the lower half of the cylinder head so it has to be disproportionaly hot on the lower cowled side of the cylinder head than the upper.

Why dont they cast the heads with the fins at 45 degrees or even 90 degrees so we can get good airflow over the entire cylinder head and not just the half sticking out the top of the baffle.

I know part of the answer will be the barrels are the same as the 150 so they would need to cast two different types. But if they were offset 45 degrees it would still work on the twin cylinder setup and would seriously enhance the effective cooling on the four cylinder engines.

My 2 bobs worth.

Hmmmmm, very interesting observation. I will look into it. I already have some ideas but will refrain in answering in case I end up looking like an ass
I will be back with an answer. I talk to the factory every day so it won't take long for an answer

Since the top and the cylinder are two separate pieces, I would think that you could rotate the tops 90 degrees and get the desired air flow. Fins at 45 degrees would be nicer though.
