| Fly 3D or go home ![]() | hmmmm .. . falsification of Shipping documents . .Customs hoodwinked. . .one company taking the engines of many small vendors and putting them out the door as their own, and not telling anyone that they are doing so.... Does anyone else get the feeling that the term "Unscrupulous" applies here? Don't we already have enough of that in this hobby from "been here, now gone" companies that played these games and then just closed shop, leaving customers stranded or out of money? .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ...................... HEY GUYS WE HAVE A THREAD HERE ABOUT A BRAND OF MOTOR DON'T TURN IT INTO SOMETHING POLITICAL IM SURE YOU MUST HAVE SOMETHING BETTER TO DO ..................AND IF NOT THEN START A THREAD CALLED POLITICS. Hobby city is HUGE and has proven to be a great place for shopping online and at good prices. I have found more than once that the staff at hobby city are preparred to just about bend over backwards to offer great service. Kriss W I do however agree with some of your thoughs ............ Trev

Trev[/quote] Hobby city is HUGE. . over THERE. And still took 6 weeks to get an ignition I wanted to look over to my front doorstep. A waste of $$$, but sometimes you get screwed while making sure something is worth looking into or not. You'd be surprised how much Chinese stuff I have on the shelf, that I'll never use.

| Flyin' Around ![]() | I'm starting to think that the title of this thread should be changed to something other than SV engines...Maybe something along the lines of importation laws? I starting following it in the hopes of finding out more about these engines, and to hear what experiences people are having with them, and it's been almost a page with hardly a mention of them at all! Let's PLEASE get back on topic folks...PLEASE! |

| Flyin' Around ![]() | I ordered hobbycity's 45 cc Gasser, for $179.00 plus $20 or $30 bucks shipping, looks great, haven't started it yet. Thinking about the SV 100cc twin for my 97" Lanier YAK 54 I have comeing in from Tower. Should be here in 2 more days. $385.00 plus $45.00 over size shipping, (3 boxes) 1/3 scale on a budget. I have so much money wrapped up in 8 new twin engine planes and motors still in the box, but I want to try a 33% Yak and see if I like it. The dang Chinese are making everything else, the ARF's, nitro motors, etc... hell I'll try one of their gassers. If DA, 3W, etc... had their choice they would run the prices through the roof. BS... I foot the bill, and don't fly proffesionally, so a little weekend Yak at 33% that I can probably get together for under $1200 bucks, I can work with those numbers. The Chinese car is coming soon, $4995 nice looking little car. BTW, I ride a Harley...no subs there...!!! |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | Guys take whatever 3D Trev said with a truck load of salt. He does not have the money to purchase an engine, let alone stuff for $300. Just big talk. |

| Flyin' Around ![]() | Hey Prop Washer2...Did you ever run that 45cc Gasser yet? I was looking at that engine for a plane I bought awhile ago, but couldn't afford an engine for. If it runs good I may have finally found an engine that I can afford to put on it! I know it will definitely have the power I need for this plane. I'm just wondering how it runs (start-up, idle, transition, etc.) Thanks, Mark |

| Gettin' Lower! ![]() | Why do you want to try it when you can get a 26 cc motor everybody is raving about for 189.00 landed at your door. The 149.00 price is fob china. EMS will run you about 50.00. If something goes wrong are you going to pack it up and send it back to china? Keep it safe deal here in the us. The link for the special deal on the 26 is http://rconlysite.com/gf26promo.html |

| Bad-ass Super Contributer! ![]() | dealinrc... I bought a CRRCPro 45GFi and it was crap. The crankshaft was incorrectly pressed together, the piston hit the spark-plug and it sucked. Never did get it going, bought a DL50 instead -- *way* better engine. I sure hope they've improved because their quality control used to be totally non-existent.
