I put my deposit down just the other day!!
Can't decide to use my existing 3w-75 engine or buy a new DA-85.
If I buy a new DA I will have suffer wife abuse for a few months...It may be worth it though.

Looks gorgeous. 19 and 3/4 lbs? Holy crap... So that would be, what, 18 lbs even with a da 50?!? hmmm... Foamies got nuffin on this.

I don't think a DA 50 would be the motor of choice on this plane. It's a 33% size bird which falls right into the 75-85cc class motor , or possibly a BME 115 as well. I think it would fly with a 50cc , just would be able to do much with it.

If the 75cc Extra is anything like the 50cc Extra that hit my door last week it will be awesome. The quality of Kevins ARF's Airframes are fantastic, the covering is perfect and the painted parts are flawless. After seeing the quality of Kevins/Dietrich ARF's not to mention the great prices you can't go wrong.

My next 40% IMAC airframe will be a Diectrich, thanks Kevin for a great product and outstanding customer support.

Was just making a point Jeffro... but thanks for the correction . At 18 and some odd pounds though. It would fly with a DA-50 just fine . A da-85 on this thing will be insane.

Can she tell the difference between the 75 and 85? Both large single cylinder motors.

I wouldn't condone "misdirecting the mind" to a loved one, but my wife wouldn't be able to tell the difference between say a 50 and a 85.
