If you don't come back at him with both barrels blazing .. he'll think you're a wimp. . . I'd hate to think I'd ever be victimized by some amateurish harmless little fuzzball. . Besides, he's just jealous cause HE didn't think of this stuff.. . . ![]() It's all in fun Cracky.

I must say you guys are real slow @ figuring out things. I have had this all engineering and testing (done figured out by July 10th 2007). And do have all and more already to go for 115 engine. KW you have come along way so far at explaining this. They are ALL learning how to read better too. KW you still are missing 2 parts in the total design yet. (Call me and I will tell you again) what you are missing that way eveyone will know who figured this out. Now Hambone you know better than that. It just takes a litte time to get it in eveyone's brain who figured it out. We all have worked very hard on this spent lots of money too! If you all want to buy it, ( all done now) ask HAMBONE for my number. He can tell you that he already has tried a totaly done kit. ( AN ALL METAL KIT ) and more than JB WELD. JUST MADE 3 KITS for the 110 engine in 1 hr of time ( SMOKE N ) The 115 takes about 4 hrs each to produce a kit with gaskets.(COSTS MORE) You need to tell Keith he should have flew up here and seen how it works. Would have saved all of YOU ALL a whole bunch of reading. ( BUT ) we are all way smarter now, about tuning engines. Thanks Kris! We all need to get back to flying/building and have fun and not spend all our time fighting this issue, cause, I am not wasting any more time or money. SEND/SPEND THE MONEY it will fix you all up. (MOSTLY, UNLESS YOU ARE ANAL) |

I'd also like to put out a bit of information of where Patrick got the kernels of knowledge for his ideas .. from ME. Yup. . emails, drawings, conversations on the phone. Now. . Keith at BME would not touch it. . I was once interested, but now I'm certainly not, adn if it was so all fired perfect it would be selling like hot cakes. Something Patrick does not mention. . his "System" has met with mixed reviews, and several people have said it does not totally fix all the problems associated with the 115. The way I have attacked this problem, however, does so to the best of my own satisfaction. Anyone interested in talking to Patrick, please contact him privately. .OFF THIS THREAD. I've been pretty open about all the things that went into this project, and except for a couple of proprietary things (just to CMA), it can be replicated by anyone who wants to. I daresay, given Patricks super-secretive (gotta be a member of the decoder ring club) machinations concerning this, and that it has been reported as being less than a stellar success, if I was in the market I'd closely examine what has gone on in the last 100 or so posts on this thread, then start asking questions. If someone won't answer a question, what are they hiding? So, please, go take your marketing strategy elsewhere or start your own thread instead of hijacking MINE. Another post like your last one and I will ask a moderator to delete them as a blatant ad campaign for products, which has no place in this thread.

Okay. .a couple of rhetorical questions. . BME made the 115, and put this super big carburetor and reed bank on it WHY??? Answer: to make more power. We are experiencing all these low throttle KE and inverted problems why??? Answer: because the carb and reed block are too big. . Soo. . if we made the carb and reed block smaller. . .got rid of the burbling problem. . gave it smoother idle and midrange, yet maintained the same top end power. . . would this be a GOOD thing??? Answer: YES!!! After running my adapted BME-110 induction system on the 115, getting the same top end numbers, easier starting, smoother midrange response, and easier tuning, AND saving a couple of ounces of weight. . . .I'm asking again. . WHY did BME go to the larger reed cage and carburetor??? Answer: I have absolutely NO idea. . . . . . . Almost calm wind this afternoon . .time to do some flight testing.

Let us know how the 110 induction system does on the 115 when you get back from flying. I wondered if it might not be enough air/fuel flow for the 115.............. Jim |

Keep typing your life away and good luck! Kris, Well you finaly hit the head of the nail ! Yes,why? Because it needed/ the 110 needed changes too and I am working on the 110 with someone on that problem also. We are all not tuning idiots out here we are mostly all 30 to 70 year old men that have being playing for years with engines. The 110 and 115 engines are race horses that need special care. DA made them almost idiot prof and that makes a whole lot of difference. So de tuning is an option to go with. I MADE My 115 engine WORK REAL GOOD! 110 size induction it will be to narrow of area and won't get enough oil (and take out bearings.) you will need a transition taper intake design to insure outerbearings do get the fuel and oil mixure there too. It will work but detune the output some also. less gas less fuel less power. Hey I am out of this done with it. call if you want one. YOU CAN WORK AND TYPE YOUR LIFE AWAY. Have a Merry Christmas and happy New Year everyone. o for all the swayed people Holidays BYE BYE |
