Atlantahobby.com continues to expand with promotions and new associate positions filled Cumming, Georgia Atlantahobby.com the nations leader in innovative, electric only flight products announced today that it had once again expanded, promoting a new shop manager, Car manager and adding two highly qualified associates to the Atlantahobby.com team. Cliff Whitney, President of atlantahobby.com said “ I have learned that to be successful you must surround yourself with successful people and I am excited to once again be able to do just that. We have a strong formula for success and will continue to deliver the best in products and customer service in the industry. I have some very special expansion plans for our company and the need is great for knowledgeable folks, I am very happy for all of these individuals. About The Promotions and New Associates Greg Ledford has been promoted to retail operations manager and will now take on the responsibility of the day to day operations at the shop. Greg is a 3 year veteran of Atlantahobby.com and has experience in all aspects of the operation. Greg is married with their first baby on the way and serves on the board of directors of the Georgia Model Aviators. He is an expert RC pilot, flying foamies, hot-liners and his 88 inch EF Yak. Russell Huff or “Dr. Huff” as he is called by the local club members has over 50 years of RC experience and is an electric guru. Don’t let the good Dr’s calm nature while in the shop or on the phone fool you because on the field his flying is aggressive. Curtis Cozier comes to atlantahobby.com from Riders Hobby in Taylor MI. Curtis was an active member of the famous Weak signals club in Toledo OH and is an Expert in IMAC participating in the invitational 2007 Tucson Aerobatic Shootout. Prior to Riders Curtis gained mail-order experience at Snow Leopard Mountain sports in Colorado. Myke Abrams is another veteran of atlantahobby.com and has been promoted to manager of the newly formed RC car division. Mr. Whitney stated “Myke is an expert in the car area and his knowledge is widely sought after in racing circles. You will see a lot of activity from atlantahoby.com in the newly formed car division bringing to the industry what we have done for the aircraft division and I am happy to have Myke step up to these new responsibilities.” About Atlantahobby.com Originally launched in 1978 as Whitney's Glider Supply, Atlantahobby.com is a privately held Georgia corporation located in Cumming, GA.
