and I said thanks.. but frankly what Brillelli does has absolutely nothing to do with me, I am not defined in the least by the engines, nor does it effect my business or personal life. So really I don't need it all but thanks anyhow

Chainsaw Jake, I can certainly understand Brillelli not wanting anything to do with you anymore. More than one person feels you tarnished their name.

Yes you and all your friends I am sure. Either way you completely misunderstood what I said. I said I am not defined by Brillelli. Maybe you can re read that a few hundred times and understand what I said.

I really have no idea how you can jump to a conclusion of that nature which has nothing to do with anything I was saying.

Certainly you would not tell sombody to stop buying foreign products if you yourself were buying them.

Here's a short list of things you could look at in your quest to stop our jobs from going overseas. Getting rid of your foreign made products is an excellent way to make your point. Start with Cell phones, your desktop computer, PDA, fridge, stove, car, land line phone, own a laptop? toss it in the trash can, fishing pole and reel, Do you own an ARF? burn it. How about the lawnmower, tennis raquet, ski's, silverware, plates and dishes, microwave, printer, CD player, your wallet, your wifes purse, cloths, and shoes ( wanna see you explain this to her) Your watch,TV, the radio system for your RC plane, nearly any glow engine, MOst RC componants on the RC plane, the nitro in your glow fuel, the gas in your car, your bike, skis, rollerblades, how about the componants in your ignitions systems?, and lastly, many of the componants in the chainsaw conversions you seek to protect.

To answer your question, no I would not wish any of my family and or friends to loose their jobs to a foreign product, but it's bound to happen. I say foreign product instead of Chineese because I'm quite sure this is what you ment unless you have something in particular against the Chineese people. Low cost quality products is what the American people want, we ourselves have created this demand, the Chineese and others are only giving us what we ask for.
Of course I buy Chinese products ,Heck I am even buying my ignitions from China. You can not beat them so I thought I should join them. And some of my parts do come from China.
Ihave nothing at all against the chinese people. I have a DL-50.
I just thought the Goodnight comment was a little tacky. How do you spell Chinese . I believe you have it wrong but I am just a dumb farm boy from Nebraska.
I do not believe I said anything about stop buying Chinese products.
Goodnight All

It does matter to Bill if some chainsaw conversions come with the option of a CH ignition. No chainsaw converstion, decreased CH ignitons sales, thus a decrease in revenue for the person assembling the ignition. Do you really think that the public can't put two and two together?

Lets talk about an agenda as long as you brought it up. Normally a person with an agenda has one because he or she will profit given a certain outcome. We have talked about your agenda in the past. You admit that you recieved a free engine from Berrelli. You went so far as to compare yourself to a NASCAR driver in the explanation of your role in advertizing. I would advance the theory that you have an agenda. Intelligent people are causious when taking advice from somebody with an agenda. If someone sells ignitions to Chainsaw conversion people, one might assume that they have an agenda when he seeks to protect the business that buys his products. It's just common sense.

I don't sell, market, profit from or accept free RC engines parts or service. My opinion is mine, it's not bought and paid for.

If saying goodnight upset you, why did you ramble on about the Chinese putting you out of business? Like I told Jake, when you can't argue with the facts, look for spelling errors and change the subject! Heck, If I run spell check, you and Jake will have nothing to argue with me about, we don't want that!

It's good to see you made a smart business decision getting on board with the Chinese. I commend you for that. And I'll say it again, GOODNIGHT to the chainsaw conversions. In my opinion their days are numbered. When that happens where are the guys with these engines going to buy their parts? I say this because it's happened to me. I bought a Chainsaw conversion years ago, I'll skip the name. Naturally it came apart and needed to be sent in for repair. There was a little problem, the guy discontinued his business for whatever reason. (started up again later) Phone and e-mail were not answered, there I sat with a motor needing parts with no idea what chainsaw they came from. I put the Chainsaw motor in a cabinet next to the laundry detergent and it sits there to this day. Bought myself DA's DL's 3W's and never looked back. I fully understand your relationship to the chainsaw conversion builders, you sell them products. As their sales fall off, a part of yours will as well. That obviously upsets you. As for your comment about what you are and where your from..... I don't know what to tell you except I'm sorry to hear that.

John

NOT IN THE RC BUSINESS, NOT ON THE PAYROLL, MY OPINION IS NOT BOUGHT AND PAID FOR. DON'T ACCEPT FREE MOTORS SO I WILL TROLL THE INTERNET SELLING THEM

John your opinion is all knowing.. I believe you should be a visionary for the future of the entire R/C world.

I can argue with all day but it's like talking to a brick wall.. the guy who spent 2 months trying to help his buddy tune an engine is all knowing.. what can I say.

I love how you through in DL into the mix.. that in itself is funny. I won't even go down that road.

Have a nice life.

As usual Jake, your comments are personal attacks, unfortunate for you, and against FG rules. Your constant name calling and attempts to intimidate anybody with an opinion that differs from yours is a real disservice to Brillelli. When their name is constantly displayed at the bottom of your posts it may in many cases give the impression that the company will treat it's customers similar to how you as a sales team member treat people. I know I would not want to have a warranty claim and have somebody call me names ect....

Now, I'm sure anybody that has done business with Scott knows he's a wonderful person to deal with, however there are a lot of people that read these threads that don't know that and could take their business elsewhere especially when it could cost them less money for a similar product.

I'm not sure whats funny about the DL-50 In my opinion it's an excellent engine, well built, powerful, dependable, and the price has allowed a lot of people to get into gas that could not efford to previously.

John

John you are the only one that gets that type of attitude and while you are the first to mention how I do it.. you have been doing the same for awhile. So FG could delete my posts based on name calling etc, however they would have to do the same for yours.

You can now whipe that innocent smile off your face
