Default 37.5% Aviation Models Yak

Well we had a great day up in Redding yesterday and while we were up there tailchaser brought out his new 37.5% Yak from Aviation Models. The plane performed awesome and everything went smooth. We actually had 3 of the Aviation Models planes up there. I included a shot of them all. 37.5% Yak, 35% giles 202, and 35% Yak. Thought everyone might like to see some pictures since the plane is new and there is not a lot of info on the net yet. Hope you enjoy!

Not sure exactly what this one came out at. He had a power expander and aftermarket servo tray in the plane so that would be the only additional weight. The plane flew very well and had lots of extra power. 8000 feet is way up there though. This plane could be built in the 38 lbs range.

Yes the next batch will ship out after we get back from China next week. The cowl has been flared just a tad on the sides to allow the DA 150 to fit. It will be a direct bolt on and anyone that wants a replacment can have one. I'm sure Sammy can put your name on one if you give him a call.
