DK and every one interested.

I just got off the phone with the EVO factory and here is the news from the horses mouth.

The engine is destined for a racer and will be spinning a 39 x 23 prop. Thats not a typo either. Its an ultra light prop to be precise.

There will be some more pics coming out that I or Roger will post. The engine is going to run at the Fuertes Alais in France and there will be some video for us to have a listen to it when they get back.

DK they have an inverted Vee 150 available for the warbirds and narrow cowls. That engine is about 15% more powerful than a boxer 150 mainly due to the fact it has two seperated crankcases so it has some distinct advantages with that. The guy who builds these said a three or four cylinder in line is totally practical if there is a need for them. The narrow Vee really helps the cooling of the rear cylinder.

As I get more news on this I will keep you posted.

Roger,

Will those venturis fit under the cowl or will you be making a cowl bump to accomodate them.

Looks great mate, we need to hear it.

Kiwi,
Since I'm making a hotrod theme, then I wan these to be exposed so the cowling will have a large opening to see it all or most all. The complete engine bay, will be painted to a gloss to highlite the engine, and this airplane is a promotional tool.
My brother is the paint expert having won many awards with custom cars, Motorbikes ans such and he is well entranched in this project.
