Never would have thought I'd be saying this, but after about 15 flights on my new Inspire 60, it is the best flying plane Fliton has produced to date. Even with an aft CG, its extremely precise, yet agile for 3D. Thanks to my buddy Zak West for great video work! Enjoy! http://media.putfile.com/Inspire-60-Video Greg (gmilo) |

Same power as mine! Yes, I decided that I couldn't pass this one up. I am using maxamps batteries and a xoar electric prop. This was my third Fliton plane and was the best flying plane I have ever owned, until I got the Fliton AJ 330! I'm not trying to take anything away from the Inspire, though, as it has things to offer that the 330 doesn't. KE coupling is almost not worth programming out, as it is practically non-existant. High-alpha is rock-solid once you get it in it's sweet spot (because of its long tail moment, it tends to pourpose a bit at lower angles of attack - it is still very predictable, though). AUW on mine is 6.25 pounds and the power is plenty for hovering and getting out of trouble, but vertical speed could be better. This is nothing against the plane - I think a different motor choice, like the Axi or Hacker equivelant would have been better. Hats off to you Fliton boys! I look forward to the AL 330 90! (hint, hint!) |
