The gray paint is a light "dusting" of gray primer and a light "dusting" of speckeled paint....I say "dusting" because if you just used the speckeled paint you are going to have one heck of a heavy airplane.....It only added 2 oz. to the plane the way we did it....I don't want to know how much it would add if you just sprayed the speckeled paint on.....John could help you out with the tricks...

Hey Guys, just a heads-up.. the folks, and the team from Aerotech, really does kick-butt work. This bird , has incrediable detail to the workmanship. Most impressive! They are focussed on the details that you request, and deliver, not to mention they have many talented guys working together who have their on sub- specialities. Example..Painting!!!!!!, Covering, Baffling!!
So being the "Chief Sponsor".. of the FlyingHamiltons... my hard-earned money, like yours, has to go along way.
AEROTECH R/C MODELS.. DELIVERS BABY!!!

That is one sweet looking Extra 300 though. I'd like to do one with the 157 as well. Did you leave the intake trumpet on it as well?

Hello,

We buy it at Home Depot or most any hardware store. Its call Stone Creations. Its a speckled paint.. We do a light dusting of primer not too much it eats foam. Doing thi lessons the amount of speckle paint need to cover the fuse interior. Thanks on the compliments. We thank all for the support.

Thks, Monty, sorry buddy my hands are full with Stephen and Jordan..remember Jordan's a sleeper... nevers practices, however he can fly quite well. It's just not a passion for him, as basketball, and paintbal is. This kid can put a serious" hurting: on the paint-field!!
However getting back ... to the issue at hand.
Thks to plane wrapers.com, we're able to keep these birds alive, and not melting. I don't know if folks realize this, today at the stuart field.. the ambient temps were 95 to 98.. my car showing 102... it was blistering. With yourplane- covers you can save your equipement... I know for a fact.. that the lion' and lipos...shorten there lifespan signicantly with temps over 160... now try temp'ing the inside of your plane with zero sun protection... yeah that's right.. you'll be shocked!!!WE WERE!
Thks again for your fanastastic covers.. they really work, also the american flag cover style.. is just killer!!!
Don
