Hey guys finally test flew the new 300 midwing today...all i can say is WOW what a great flying machine....We flew it twice before we had to pack up before a big thunderstorm....This plane flies very well and presents well in the air....It didnt require any trim-adjstments on any surface....Its a diffrent feeling when you don't reach over to the right side of the radio and give it a few clicks of up or down...or some aileron trim....Also when you roll it to inverted it requires a slight tiny amount of push to hold it...It flies very neutral overall.....The motor(Cactus Aviation 3W157 CS) ran beautiful; Awesome verticle uplines at half throttle....plenty of power for this airplane and it pulls it around like a bullet...It rolls very straight and snaps on a dime....when u want it to stop snapping it stops right now, and just where you leave it!....another thing is that this glides forever...like into the next county....it just wants to keep flying.....i did 3D it a little; i couldnt resist, but it rolls very fast at low speeds....it took very little throw to push it up into a hover....it does high alpha and with very little rocking of the wings....over all i.. think this will be a great imac and freestyle plane....I would like to thanks John Sharpless, John Nelon,Tony Russo, the now famous "Airbrush painter" Mr Clint and the rest of the Aerotech crew for putting together this great flying airplane....Thanks so much guys and i will get some pics of it flying here in the next few weeks....Like an idoit i forgot to put the camera in the car so we ran off and forgot it.... That's it for now... let me go wipe this "Huge Mega Grin" off my face. With: Fromeco place mat/Batt mangement system, Cactus Aviation 3w157cs and Futaba equipement(14MZ).
CAN YOU SAY SWEET????

Stephen...glad to hear the maiden went flawless! Again another success story with the 300...I am going to try really hard to get my done for the regionals...now that there are a "few" around now, it shouldnt be hard to get some numbers dialed in right off the bat to minimize tweaking and mixing!

Keep us posted on further flights to come.

Joe

Well, I had to fly it agian today and i have this thing locked in....I set up a throttle to elevator mix for the vertical down line. I have 2% and that was dead nuts on to keep it going straight down....That is the exact same percentage that i have on my velox....weird???? I also set-up a condition for snaping and that helped me a lot....It flies the unlimited sequence very well and has plenty of power to do all of the manuvers....
