John...is this thing going to be a pain for cannisters? Probabaly have to resort to crossover headers to get the right length of header for the cannister?

I might be interested. I have a carden 40% Cap now that I am doing a lot of work to lighten it up. I take it this will have much more updated design and all.

Hello,

It may be tight for 150cc cannisters but 106 sizes might work better. I will look at this and see what I can change. Best part of having a laser and knowing cad.

Later

How much does your Carden weigh? Once I get done with mine with cans, I am expecting 39 lbs.

MTW 110 K cans may work. I just got done putting a set in my 40% Carden Cap with room to spare. I don't know the measurments for this plane, but they just might fit. If you do put cans in it, make damn sure you don't run a carbon fiber wing tube. It will fail. The heat will soften the resin, and the tube will fail. The back of the cans will be right at the wing tube socket.

Hello,

It looks like cannister may work for the 150. I will mock it up and let you know for sure.

Why lighten the cap up, to light and it wont fly as well and you take out some of its structural integrity.

John, if you would like, I can give you pictures and measurements of my set up. I would be more than happy to help out in anyway I can.
