Sounds awesome, but please tell me they use a spline that has aftermarket arms available for it...... I returned a gaggle of 9152's a few weeks ago after I found out they use an 'unusual' spline and no arms were available for it that would allow me to use them on my bird...........

I've been a faithful Futaba user for over 20yrs, but after jumping in to giantscale finally this past year, I've been pretty let down by the Futaba giant scale products.......

Matchless, what kind of arms do you need? The stock arms are very strong and work perfect. If you want metal arms airwild makes some that fit the bigger spline. The bigger spline really helps keep the gear train together and provides a stronger mounting point. You should have kept the servos.

Talked to Tower/Hobbico (Futaba distrubtor). The servos will be $114.99 ea and should be available in April.

Thanks for the input Garrett. I'm sure I would have loved them if I could have gotten them to work. I needed a 3.5" offset double arm for Rudder (2 of them). I could not find a Surelink that would work and did not like the looks of the plan I made to mod the existing arms to fit the Surelink metal.

I also called Airwild, SWB, and Don's Hobbyshop and none had the arms I needed. So in the end, they went back.

If someone knows of such an arm, I'm all ears. (though I have a pair of 8611's on the way that I know will do the job...)

Mine are coming right now and should be here by Mon/Tues. I will be putting them in a 37% yak with big ailerons so I could not wait for them to be available.

I got my set for the MX2 and they will be in it tonight! I hopefully will have it ready to fly by the weekend. I had a bag of the 3x8 mm socket head screws for the JR servos I used to use. Luckily the new 9156's also use the same screw.
