A friend of mine has had one of these in his Dalton 300 for a while now, very nice unit, I'll send him a message and ask him to post his experiences with it.

BTW, gforce, that is the greatest avatar I have ever seen.

Papa Joe has been flying on ein his 40% Extra 260 since Joe Nall.
He says he loves it.
But also, the new generation of power boxes coming out this winter will have the RRS feature built in!!

The unit works flawlessly, and can even tell you how many hits or drop outs you took and on what receiver!

VERY COOL UNIT INDEED!
I am installing either the stand alone unit or the incorperated powerbox one on my 40% Carden Extra 330 fo next season!'

The Power Box RRS was discussed at some length in the BH 50%Edge Build Thread. I have one that I used in my 39% Krill KatanaS because I couldn't establish a good link with only one Rx. It worked well.

SleepyC, the stand alone unit can not tell you have many hits or drop outs you take. It can tell you how many times it has switched between receivers, and it will tell you the signal strength of each receiver at the time you are looking at the unit.

Sorry, I meant what you said. I took it as if the unit switched to the other receiver it had a drop out or a hit.
But you are correct.

I know you did, I just didn't want people reading it, buying the RRS, expecting what you wrote, getting disappointed, and then frying YOUR A$$ .

It is a very cool unit if you already have a Power Expander etc. and just wants to add a receiver. I had a base loaded Deans antenna on one Rx, with antenna sticking up through turttle deck, the other Rx with stock antenna wire taped to outside bottom of fuse.

As Sleepy has said, I have been using one of these since Joe Nall. I think it is the best idea when using a PowerBox or similar power units. It allows you to use two rcvrs and if the signal strength is lower on one rcvrs verses the other, it seamlessly switches with no notice to the higher signal strength rcvr.
Here is my setup in my 260.
