Hey Road Builder, I've seen a few with 40's etc on them. They go well,But,,,,,,,,,,,just like CSpaced stated, you'll be fighting a nose heavy situation. With the 32's, I keep them right up to the firewall with back plate mounts. Also, I put my battery as far back as I can in the radio compartment. Usually beside the rudder servo. If you use a larger, heavier engine, you'll have plenty of speed, and pull off great rolls and loops. But the Outlaw works much ,much better with the smaller 32 / 36 engines. Though a little high in price, the Jett 30 would be a killer power plant for this one. If you want to get the most bang for you buck though, I'd be looking at the OS 32, or the Webra 32/36. |

That's cool, thanks for the response guys. I need to find a home for that engine. It's a screamer. I've got an OS .25 in a Mini 3D, but I could never get that motor to run right. Jay |

By the way folks, I FINALLY got me camera fixed, so I should be getting some pics up in the next few days. One of which, is the proto type I've been wearing out the sky with the last couple of months. | ||||||||||||||||||

I am in line for the first batch of these models, which I think should be the end of this month or beginning of february, but don't hold me to that, will get some threads done when they arrive though. Will be using a West 36 with mini pipe in mine, should be awesome!!

OK guys, here are some pics of the prototype Ive been talking about. A few changes have been made to the final version. Pic #1 shows the wing tips, which are solid! This is something Ive done to my scratch built Outlaws, and it really works out great, especially if you like starting up your engine head facing up.

Typical pipe and muffler. Macs header, with a mousse can muffler. If you really want to "Wad" this bird up, you'll need to use this type set up, or one similar to it. Lots of pressure available for the tank. This will keep your power plant screaming when you go from 125 mph to 0 mph in 8 feet! Muffler is really easy to make, and cheap! If anyone is interested, I'll do a quick little build session on one. Buddy of mine needs one now, and I could just shoot a few pics while I do it.
