I see a lot of threads on the various sites about poor quality, and bad service. I also read that many ARF companies are experiencing poor sales due to the tuff economy. Some well known ones have even closed. Chris and the EF group seem to be having the opposite problem. They seem to be having difficulty keeping up with demand. I believe this is due to:

Great, well tested designs

Good quality control

Fantastic customer service

Chris's seemingly limitless support for the Hobby, and events. His generosity is well known.

Glad to see that this business model still works here.

I have been waiting for one of the new 78" Extra 300s for just short of a year. I know when it gets here next month, it will be a special product, and I will be happy I waited.

Totally agree with your comments. The only thing that drives me nuts is how impatient some of these people are. I know it takes more time to get the best product out there but when you get it you really understand what the difference is.

If you want something bad enough you can wait on it.

I really do like EF planes and I have no problem with waiting on one of them.

Thanks...You cant believe the dedication Chris has towards the finished product. He also donates so much too which basically is supporting and putting back into the hobby.
The 78" Extras are going to be great. The electric version has been flown quite a few times...Awesome! I had gotten the 78" Gas version almost done and its back in the shop getting the motor mounted....the motor was delayed and thus the finished plane delayed but its a great plane. I cant wait to fly the gas version.

Yes they'll send us an email I guess. Don't think they accept pre-orders.

Depends which country you are in. The EF distributor was the first one to go under in the UK and we haven't had a supply since I've tried ordering spares only to have my order rejected. The only stockest in the UK supply at almost twice the price of the nearest rival

Once you could not go to a club without seeing EF models on the flight line, now they are rare in the UK.

I am glad you guys receive such fantastic service, truely I am but it is a different story over here which is such a shame. They had one of the biggest followings and a fantastic support service here once but that has all gone.

I still have my EF 88" Yak and still love it though
