I had the YAK a couple of years ago, for a short time when they first came out. It flew fine for the few flights I got on it. The aluminum wing tube failed on it's third day during a snap. Wings went South, plane went North. I have heard that this was not uncommon on the first release of this plane. I understand that they have made some changes to deal with this issue. The owner of RC League said they would send a replacement plane once they found new distribution in the U.S.. Never got the replacement.

I still have mine. Flies awesome with the old hardware but I still fly it conservatively......that is until the prop broke while in the air. Saved the plane but didn't escape totally without damage. The motor shook the firewall apart and itself. It screwed up the cowl so I need another one. just got the motor back and put back in. I would like to try and find a dealer in the states to order another if that is possible. I would also like the carbon fiber wing tube and landing gear...... Anyone have extras they are willing to part with?
