Default Flip 3d

I just pushed the button for a flip 3d.(Christmas looks good so far) I think i got a pretty good deal at $188 shipped. Is there enough interest for a build thread? If so i'll gladly do it. First off. What about power. I have a .46 fx sitting here. Will it be enough or should i ask for a new engine? I think 4 stroke would be out of the question due to price. Unless i can get a good deal on one. I should have this ready to fly on Jan 1st. I always fly on the first. Its a little tradition of mine.

I think with a .46 is would be ok, not overpowered by any means. I had a ys 63 in mine and it was just right. A .50 2 stroke might work a bit better than the .46, but I like the 4 strokes.

I'm on my 3rd Flip and I've used a YS 52 in the first, and YS 63's in the last two. At 4500' field elevation the YS pulls it around like an overpowered foamy! A 46 2c is what the instructions call for and it should weigh under 5lbs, so you should be OK

Good Luck!
