Help! Funtana 90 Push Rods

I just got a new-used Funtana 90, I'm installing a OS 160FX and Hitec 5645's all around, the plane came with heavy duty control horns but no push rods, I would like to install carbon fiber rods with 4-40 threaded ends, heavy duty ball ends and locking clevises. What I need to know if this is overkill or not, if not, what size cf tube should I get?

Joe

That sounds like a great setup. IMHO, you can never have linkages that are too strong. You shouldn't have any trouble at all with this setup. My F90 has a similar setup.

Are you using the cf rod kit from Chief Aircraft?

Yeah way over kill but then again you can always switch the gear into a bigger plane down the road.

I'm going with 5/32 rods with 4/40 titanium ends from Central Hobbies
