Default IMAC Practice Plane...

I was thinking about getting a plane small enough to throw in the car after school to go practice IMAC with, my IMAC planes a QQ 50cc Yak so I would a plane that flies similar to it. I have a Super Tigre G-2300. I dont want to spend a fortune on it what do yall think would be the best choice . BTW it doesn't have to be an ARF but would prefer one.

It would be nice if you could find a QQ 72" Yak, perfect fit for your motor.

RCBunn,

If you are wanting a smaller plane to practice IMAC, I would strongly recommend a pattern plane of some type. I have found that a decent pattern plane will do a really nice job of standing in for a larger scale aerobatic plane- said otherwise, it should fly more smoothly than a similar sized scale aerobatic plane. You don't need to spend a lot of money on a top of the line plane- you could probably pick one up second hand that would work great.

As a matter of fact, you could even consider the Hanger 9 Showtime. You could use your ST 2300 and it flies very smoothly when set up with conservative throws and is an excellent value.

I agree, a pattern ship style model would be a good practise model. Modeltech Adrenaline might be good if you can't find a showtime.

OMP Fusion. I used it to practice for IMAC till my DA 100 was back at the factory. The fusion is also a great 3d airplane also.
